Our exciting new intimates in two colour ways:
Amethyst and Malachite
Kultcha is coming close into our 10th birthday, I just took a moment to see how the label has evolved in this time. starting off with a jewellery collection and adding a few of my handmade clothing designs doing markets and selling a little wholesale. Never did I imagine that we would create an intimates collection that has absolutely exploded, customers are loving the cuts and returning to buy online and collect every colour, like any venture in life what we create grows and changes with us in a way.
The intimates collection was born out of our desire to continually do our best in reducing waste and minimising impact on the earth, We have always stuck by our local Australian made production, creating limited edition and non-mass produced collections, but there is always room for improvement and the world is in need of our action to be responsible to the world climate change.
One way of doing this was to use all of our off cuts and turn them into beautiful wearable creations like lingerie, matching children's wear (child of the wild, our children's label) and all other off cuts we used into large floor cushions and homewares. We now have a retail store nestled in the hills of Byron bay
The Hills Emporium
Did you know a recent report stated the Fashion Industry generates 4% of the world's waste each year, 92 million tons, which is more than toxic e-waste. A lot of that comes from off-cuts from the production process.
We are excited to share Elemental with our Kultcha tribe who have loved an supported the label for all these years. Elemental clothing will be dropping this September/October, although its spring summer its designed to be trans seasonal, last a lifetime, made with natural fibres and natural plant dyes. Produced partly in Australia and Indonesia. We are proud to say we can name each person who has made your garment.
